Green is becoming a universal cause and EUROECHO 2008 has significantly stepped-up its efforts and put in place projects and eco-friendly initiatives to preserve the environment.
We have focused on finding greener ways of doing things, taking into consideration the environmental impact while still offering the same level of service.
Take a look at our “Eco-Initiatives”:
- Eco-Bag made of recycled material
- Abstract CD-Rom only (saving 300.000 pieces of paper!)
- Final Programme made of recycled paper
- Pads and pens made of recycled material
Not only is the congress green but so is Lyon:
- 70% of all travel within the city is done electrically
- Velo’V: Lyon offers 4000 bikes for rental at its 340 pick-up and drop-off, self service bike stations found all across Lyon
